A proprietary music library at the service of venues and businesses

My Corporate Radio's editorial and production model: a library of our own production, curated by the editorial team led by Emanuele Carocci, RTL 102.5 broadcaster, operating outside the catalogs of collective management societies worldwide.

My Corporate Radio does not use the catalogs of consumer streaming apps. The MCR music library is our own production, curated by the editorial team and designed from the first track for commercial and hospitality venues.

A choice that sharply differentiates MCR from background music solutions based on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or Amazon Music, with concrete impact on the final product: a radio built for the B2B context, not a consumer app adapted afterwards.

What "proprietary library" means

The My Corporate Radio library consists of tracks produced in-house or licensed directly from rights holders, organized into themed stations curated track by track by the MCR editorial team.

The catalog operates outside the catalogs of Siae, Scf and other collective management societies worldwide. The client who activates the MCR service receives a document attesting to the origin of the music catalog. The entire cost is included in the monthly fee: no extra line items, no additional variables.

"A consumer streaming app is designed for private listening, in headphones, by one person. Music in venues is a completely different thing: it's collective, it's contextual, it accompanies an experience. You need tracks designed for that scenario, not for the morning run or the car commute." — Emanuele Carocci, founder of My Corporate Radio

The editorial process

Each MCR station is born from structured editorial work. The team starts from the definition of the target context — a high-end hotel, a contemporary clothing store, a gym, a waiting room — and builds a coherent sound palette around it.

Tracks are selected one by one and organized into programming that takes into account the time of day, the type of clientele expected, the atmosphere the client wants to create. There's no recommendation algorithm: there's an editorial team, led by a national-level broadcaster, deciding what goes on air and in what order.

The MCR stations

The library is structured into several stations, each with its own sonic identity. Among the main ones: an elegant station for high-end hotels and private clubs, a relaxing one for spas and wellness centers, a focus one for offices and waiting rooms, an energy one for gyms and dance moments, a latin one for Mediterranean and tropical atmospheres, a classical one for the most formal contexts, a cheerful one for boutique venues, and a party one for livelier moments.

Stations are accessible from the MCR web players, from dedicated apps and through integration with the audio systems already installed in venues. The client can choose which station to activate based on the time of day and on their own needs.

Catalog protection and originality

MCR's original assets are deposited with Patamu, a platform for certification and protection of intellectual property for musical and creative works. The "My Corporate Radio" trademark is also deposited with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (application no. 302025000164929, classes 35, 38 and 41).

These protections guarantee clients that the music catalog is traceable, original and managed directly by the company — without dependencies on third-party platforms that may unilaterally change terms of service, track availability or pricing.

"The library is a company asset. It's not a service sub-rented from third parties that tomorrow could close the door in our face. It's an MCR editorial production, deposited, protected and designed to grow with our clients." — Zaira Fera, co-founder of My Corporate Radio

The value for the client

For the owner of a hotel, restaurant, store or company, MCR's editorial model means three concrete things. First, editorial quality: a music selection built for their specific sector, not a generic assortment. Second, transparency: a single all-inclusive monthly fee, and a document attesting to the origin of the catalog. Third, continuity: a library that grows with the MCR editorial team, without the risk of tracks disappearing overnight due to a third-party provider's decisions.
